The Watch
 .
Probably one of the most controversial Watches in the history of Watch design. A real life Ditto, for my Millennial customers.

.

The Bulova "Royal Oak" was introduced in 1979 as part of Bulova’s efforts to compete in the luxury sports watch market. The design was clearly a knock off of the hugely successful Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, which was designed by Gerald Genta. Despite this controversy, the Bulova Oaks are highly collectible and have quite the cult following within the Vintage Watch world.

.

Today's example dates from 1981 and is the more seldom seen Quartz version of the Bulova Oak. Tricky to find with a black waffle dial.
The 35mm Case is in very good order, it retains the original hexagon crown and the quartz movement has just had a full service.
