In 1980 the first Quartz G10 made its appearance, it was also in this year that CWC won the Contract to supply the Royal Navy, taking over from Rolex. The G10 was then issued to both the Army and Royal Navy up until 2006.

The G10 of 1989 was the first G10 to have "Swiss made" below the 6 on the dial.

I like to refer these G10s as the "Ultimate Everyday beaters" they are incredibly Robust and look insanely cool on any NATO. You won't need to worry about knocking this guy too much.
