Omega first began producing the Constellation line in 1952 and it's still a cornerstone of the modern brand. The Constellation was Omega’s answer to what a technically superior dress wristwatch should be.

This example is the reference 166.052/168.033 and dates to 1969, it has a 33mm 18k solid gold case sports contrasting finishes, with the finest fluting (almost a texture) you’ll ever see on a bezel. Additionally and a bit strangely, it has a wide chamfer on the lug underside instead of the lug top, with a brushed case side. Beating away inside is the Calibre 1002 automatic movement.
