The Watch
.
The Omega DeVille chronograph reference 145.017 is a criminally underrated watch. First introduced in 1968, today's example dates from this first year of production, this bi-compax boasts a number of things that we love about vintage chronos. It has a compact 35mm stainless-steel case with a screw-down caseback.
Inside you have the Omega manual-winding caliber 860 movement, the 860 was only produced in 10,000 units as opposed to the 861 where around 300,000 were made. Rounding out the watch is a gorgeous and simple matte dial with two understated registers. Like we said, this watch is criminally underrated, and one you can’t help but fall in love with.
