The Watch

The Datejust has remained Rolex’s mainstay model since the brand introduced it in 1945. When it comes to popularity, the steel Oyster case and Jubilee bracelet combination is at the top of the pecking order for its sleek appearance and versatility. The Submariner dates back to the 1950s, the GMT as well, but no classic Rolex has a richer history than the Datejust.
The example we have here is from 1980 with a "Buckley" dial. The "Buckley" dial features painted Roman numerals and is rumored to be nicknamed after an avid New York-based Rolex collector and dealer John Buckley. Something we love about this "Buckley" Rolex is the handset and numerals, the black really jumps off the wrist against the pure white. To add a cherry on the proverbial cake, we have to give a shout out to the 14k white gold fluted bezel.
This guy comes with the Original Box and a correct 62510H Jubilee Bracelet with no. 555 end links with date code "H" dating it to 1983.
