Vintage Rolex Oyster Army Ref Wristwatch.
This seldom seen reference holds a special place in the hearts of the serious Rolex collectors as 3000 of this ref were delivered to Allied troops during World War II, whilst this piece dates to just after the end of the War, its safe to say there aren't many of these still alive and kicking today and will make a top addition to any collection out there.
This style of case gives out HUGE mini-Panerai vibes.

The Dial is in a condition, that is highly sought after by collectors, unmolested and unrestored this fantastic Original factory Dial has aged beautifully over the years There is some age related discolouration to the Crown side of the Dial but I love patina like this, you just cannot replicate it.
It is lovely to see a Original, unmolested Rolex dial as they seem to be prime targets for the Re-Dialing monsters.
This is the original Untouched Vintage Dial and a very nice one at that.

Case
Top Quality Rolex Oyster Stainless Steel Case.
The case measures 31mm, but due to the shape it really does wear a lot bigger; it feels more like a 36mm watch on the wrist. These watches are often compared to Panerai cases, which Rolex made in the early days.
The Case is in fantastic condition for its age with no real marks to write home about at all bar a few age related scratches, which are barely worth mentioning, in this 75 year old timepiece. The Case has undergone a full ultrasonic clean to bring some life back into it.
There is a Presentation engraving to the Caseback.

This Case was rated Water resistant back in the Day, it is now a Vintage Timepiece, it has NOT been tested for Water Resistance and if you wish to Submerge this Watch, you will need to have the Watch Professionally Resealed before doing so!!
Hands, Crystal and Crown
Original Blued Hands are in very good order.
The Crystal has been changed during Service.
Original signed Rolex, screw down Crown, the Crown has had a Overhaul as is screwing nicely to the tube.
Bracelet
I have slightly modified a Steel Vintage 17mm Beads of Rice Bracelet to fit this Guy and it looks amazing. The BoR is currently set to fit around a 7.25in wrist with scope to go one notch bigger on the clasp. With no spare links.
Also included is a 17mm Dark brown leather strap with steel buckle.
Comes with a free GungaDin Watch Box as standard.
