Super Cool Vintage Squale Medium Divers Watch.
Very interesting piece from a great factory.
Squale has really increased in popularity over the past few years, not surprisingly, as they are great quality Dive watches.
Perfect for the individual that doesn't want the typical Diving brick on the Wrist. I know your modern mind is saying "whoa a medium?" but trust me this wears beautifully, the case is not small by any means, coming in at approx 35mm, 36mm with bezel and almost 38mm with the Crown. I have attached a photo so you can see how this wears on my approx. 7 inch wrist.
Its sporty, classy, colourful and a bit different.

Movement
Quality Swiss made ETA 2452 automatic movement with date.
Setting The Watch
Unscrew the Divers Crown and it will gently pop out into position one, you can manually wind the Watch in this position. Pull the crown gently out and you will be in position two, setting the time by moving the crown.
This movement features a semi-quickset date feature, more advanced from all other members of the ETA 2400 family apart from the similar hand-wound 2408. The date changes instantly at midnight. To set the date, the time is moved forward from 20:30 to 24:00, then back to 20:30 and forward again.
Please ensure you push the crown back in and gently screw it back to the case when finished.

The Silver Dial is in fantastic condition with no real marks at all. Super example.
Marked Swiss Made for the presence of Tritium, which still shines faintly when under a charge.
This is the original Untouched Vintage Dial.

Case & Bezel
Top Quality Swiss Made all Stainless Steel Case.
Asymmetrical shaped case with Crown at 3 o'clock.
The Case has some age related scratches but nothing to call home about.
Most importantly, the case seems to of never been polished.
Markings are barely legible to the case back, having worn over the years.
Bi-Directional Colourful Bakelite Bezel moves nicely, the Bakelite is in fair condition for its age with age related marks throughout.
Case approx. measures in at:

Diameter with Crown: 38mm
End of lug to lug: 40.5mm
Lug Spacing: 18mm
This Case was rated 20 atmos Waterproof back in the Day, it is now a Vintage Timepiece, it has NOT been tested for Water Resistance and if you wish to Submerge this Watch, you will need to have the Watch Professionally Resealed before doing so!!
Hands, Crystal and Crown
Original Hands are in very good order. Beautiful lollipop centre seconds hand.
Original Cyclops crystal has been Polished as part of the Service.
When the Watch came to us, the Crown would not screw tightly to the case nor would it wind the Watch, so a new Screw Down crown and pendant tube has been fitted, which looks fantastic.
Strap
On a new 18mm Grey Suede Leather Strap, with stitching and Steel buckle that compliments the Watch very well indeed.
Comes with a free GungaDin Watch Box as pictured.
