Superb Vintage Omega Seamaster DeVille Automatic Wristwatch.
Omega first introduced the 166.020 model in 1962 and their double ‘branding’ of the model as a Seamaster ‘de Ville’, emphasised the watch’s sporty nature (for which the Seamaster models were well-known) whilst also drawing on the watch’s classic, dress-style look which the ‘De Ville’ range was introduced to represent and judging by this example they nailed that brief.
This Gold Capped Version was worn by Daniel Craig in the 2019 film "Knives Out".

Dating this Watch
Using the Serial numbers on the Movement, which are in the 25,300,000 range, we can date this Omega to Circa 1967.

Excellent quality Automatic movement calibre 565, with centre sweep seconds and quickset date by fully extending the Crown into position 2.
Timekeeping
The Movement is has some aged related pitting but it is wonderful and Clean whilst ticking away strongly and keeping Excellent time.

Excellent Quality Gold Capped Unishell Case. (Opens through Dial side).

This beautifully constructed Case, oozes class, it is very well proportioned and has the Iconic Omega Seamaster Hippocampus emblem to the Solid caseback.
The Case is in very good condition for its age and nature with no real marks bar a handful of very minor age related marks but nothing to write home about. Most Importantly, unpolished.

Lug Spacing: 18mm
This Case was rated 30 meters back in the Day, it is now a Vintage Timepiece, it NOT suitable to submerge or get wet unless you have the Case professionally resealed and pressure tested.

Original Hands are in very good order.
Crystal has been lightly polished as part of the Service.

On a new Tan Brown Leather strap with Gold Omega buckle which compliments the Watch very nicely indeed.
