.
Crafted in at some point in the 1950s, this beauty is powered by the Zenith 106-6 movement, which has been fully serviced. Housed in an all Stainless Steel Case, it sits wonderfully on your wrist. The Double Signed Arabic Dial is just outrageously good and has aged beautifully having developed a beautifully warm glow.
.
The Dial is double signed with Pidduck Hanley. Henry Pidduck and Sons were goldsmiths, jewellers, watch and clock makers who started business in 1841.
Their main premises were on the Market Square in Hanley but they opened a second shop on Lord Street in Southport. The Hanley shop consisted of 2 retail floors with a workshop above. They sold both their own goods and those of high quality from other manufacturers, such as Zenith, Omega, Rolex and Jaeger LeCoultre.
