Alarm function instructions:

The Alarm has 3 positions, P1 being against the case, cancel mode, P2 being in functional mode and P3 being set mode.

To use the alarm, you must first fully extend the upper alarm crown into position 3, you then use the Watch Crown (that you use for winding and time setting) below to set the desired alarm time. You do not need to extend the Watch Crown. while toggling the Crown you will notice that the disc in the middle is moving and has an arrow on it, point the arrow to the desired time.

You must then put the Alarm Crown into P2 and that is the alarm fully ready to go. When your time comes round, the alarm will ring and buzz, push the crown back into P1 to cancel the Alarm.

Getting Acquainted

.
Bits that stand out:
- All Original and untouched condition.
- Whopping 39mm Steel Case.
- Unusual to find Dauphine.
-Top Quality Movement.
.
Nitty Gritty:
- The original Crystal has some minor scratches
-Some age related discolouration around the rim which seems to have spread slightly to the seconds track.
-Case has some scratches.

.
Overall the Memostar is in very nice Vintage condition.
The Dial is in lovely condition, however it does have some very very minor marks which is to be expected of a now 52 year old.
The Original Crystal has been lightly polished with Polywatch but some age related markings remain.
The Seconds track seems to have some age related discolouration, which may mean it has come into contact with moisture at some stage of it's life.
Steel Case is in good honest nick.
