Dating this Watch
Using the Serial numbers on the Movement, which are in the 1,100,000 range, we can date this IWC to Circa 1947.
Movement
Legendary, Supreme quality Manual Wind movement calibre 88, with Sub seconds.
Timekeeping
The Movement is wonderful and Clean whilst ticking away strongly and keeping good time for a 75 year old, well within the reasonable expectations of a Vintage Timepiece.

Dial
Absolutely gorgeous ORIGINAL IWC factory vintage dial, it is so nice to see a Original IWC factory dial, most of the examples you see online have been restored or horribly re-dialled. You don't want those.

The Dial is very good condition for its age with some warm patina that has developed around the Centre it is absolutely tremendous and pleasing to the eye.
Absolutely love this Dial, the Arabic and dagger numerals are so classy and its originality is a real plus in my book.

Case
Superb quality IWC Probus Stainless Steel Case.
This beautifully constructed case oozes class, it is very well proportioned and those shaped lugs are a joy to behold.
The Case is in very good condition for its age and nature with some age related marks throughout, but nothing to write home about.
Case approx. measures in at:
Diameter: 34.8mm
Diameter with Crown: 35.5mm
End of lug to lug: 42.7mm
Lug Spacing: 17mm
This Case was NOT rated Water resistant back in the Day, it is now a Vintage Timepiece, it NOT suitable to submerge or get wet.
Hands, Crystal and Crown
Original Hands are in very good order.
Crystal has been lightly polished and some small age related markings remain.
What i believe to possibly be the Original Crown, in nice vintage condition.
Strap
On a new 17mm Genuine Ostrich Leather Handmade in Italy Tan Strap with Steel Buckle that compliments the Watch really well indeed.
