The Watch
.
Launched in 1948 to coincide with the brand’s 100th anniversary, the Omega Seamaster line is the oldest of the collection. The Seamaster was based on waterproof wristwatches made for the British Army at the end of WWII.
.
This particular Omega Seamaster boasts a wonderful Black Gilt Dial. The Seamaster writing above the 6 marker has faded away and can only be seen at certain angles.
.
Beating away inside the imposing 34mm Steel Case, is the Omega Calibre 501, this highly regarded workhorse movement has just been serviced and is ready to wear.
