Vintage Original Rado Captain Cook MkII Divers Watch

The Watch that spawned a re-edition!
The MKI & MKII are amongst the most sought after Watches for Rado collectors. It's fair to say that the Captain Cook line is Rado's Flagship line and with the modern re-editions of these, the Vintage examples are now representing a great investment for the future.

CAPTAIN COOK

T25 T25
-Swiss Made-

The Dial is in lovely vintage condition with no real marks at all.

One point to mention is that the logo no longer rotates.
This is the Original RADO Factory dial from the 60s/70s.
THIS IS NOT A REDIAL!

Case & Bezel

Top Quality all Stainless Steel Tonneau Case with hidden lugs.

The Case is in good condition for its age.
I believe the caseback markings to of either been worn or polished out, there are now some incorrect case opening scratches as this is a bayonet fit caseback.

Case approx. measures in at:
Diameter: 36.5mm approx
Diameter with Crown: 39.8mm
End of lug to lug: 40.8mm
Lug Spacing: 18mm
The Mark II advertised itself as being waterproof to 1625 feet (495 meters) back when it was new, it is now a used Timepiece, it has NOT been tested for Water Resistance and if you wish to Submerge this Watch, you will need to have the Watch Professionally Resealed before doing so!!

Hands, Crystal and Crown

Baton hands with lume infill, thin seconds hand with a paddle at the end. The hands have been relumed to match the Dial lume which is original.
Original Plexi Crystal has been professionally polished and is in good shape. The Crystal displays the Rado logo in the middle.

Original Rado Crown at 3 o'clock, I am unsure around the originality of the Crown at 4 as it is unsigned but i have seen examples with both signed and unsigned.

Strap

On a new 18mm Khaki Green Leather Strap, with Steel buckle that compliments the Watch very well indeed.

Comes with a GungaDin Watch box as standard.
