The Watch
.
The Oyster Perpetual has been a fan favourite for decades because of its classic design. The Oyster watch was the first waterproof and dustproof wristwatch in 1926 and later became the first self-winding Perpetual rotor.  This architecture has formed the heart of all Rolex watches.
.
This ref.1003 boasts a beautiful oyster case, with a wonderful engine turned textured bezel, crafted in 14k solid gold.
Beating away inside the 34mm Oyster Case is the impressive 1570 automatic movement.
.
This particular 1003, is in fantastic vintage condition. Nothing really quite hits the same as a solid gold Rolex, it is a real pleasure to wear and with smaller case sizes coming back into vogue as the want for elegance on the wrist continues to grow rapidly, it represents a fantastic opportunity for the elegant individual.
