Vintage Rolex Oyster Royal Wristwatch.
Did someone say a Rolex Oyster on a Stretch Rivet Bracelet??
This cool 32mm (33.3mm with Crown) all Steel beauty, wears astonishingly well and Rolex’s ref.4444 is especially unusual for its use of a scooped rather than chamfered bezel.

Dating this Watch
Using the Serial numbers in between the lugs, we can date this Rolex to Circa 1947.
Supreme quality Manual movement Rolex calibre 10 1/2 Hunter. With sub seconds.
The Movement is wonderful and Clean whilst ticking away strongly and keeping good time for a 74 year old, well within the reasonable expectations of a Vintage Timepiece.
Service History: Unknown
Absolutely fantastic Original Rolex factory vintage dial with Arabic numerals.
The Dial is in a condition, that is highly sought after by collectors, unmolested and unrestored this fantastic Original factory Dial has developed a awesome patina with some discolouration and some blistering but I love patina like this, you just cannot replicate it.
It is lovely to see a Original, unmolested Rolex dial as they seem to be prime targets for the Re-Dialing monsters.
This is the original Untouched Vintage 74 year old Dial and a very nice one at that.
THIS IS NOT A REDIAL!!!!
Top Quality Rolex Oyster Stainless Steel Case.
The Case is in fantastic condition for its age with no real marks to write home about at all bar a few age related scratches and one small scuff, which are barely worth mentioning, in this 74 year old timepiece.
One small ding to the Bezel.
Most importantly, it has not been polished and ruined.
Case approx. measures in at:
Diameter with Crown: 33.3mm
End of lug to lug: 38.5mm
Lug Spacing: 17mm
This Case was rated Water resistant back in the Day, it is now a Vintage Timepiece, it has NOT been tested for Water Resistance and if you wish to Submerge this Watch, you will need to have the Watch Professionally Resealed before doing so!!
Hands, Crystal and Crown
Original Filled Hands are in beautiful Vintage. order.
The Crystal is most probably a replacement from a while back though very much looks the part. It has been lightly polished and is in great nick.
The Crown was replaced long before it came into our safekeeping and is a regular push crown not screw down.
I have fitted this guy to a period 16mm French made Beau Brummel Stretch Rivet Bracelet, it looks insanely good and is in great nick. These are worth around £250 themselves.
The strap fits around a 7.75 in Wrist approx. with NO spare links.
Comes with a free GungaDin Watch Box as standard.
