The Watch

Sometimes you bump into Watches that completely charm the pants off you and this post WW2 era Tissot is no exception at all. The Arabic and Dot Dial, with a lovely warm patina, was the first thing that grabbed my attention, followed by a high quality Steel case with an unusual lug design. Beating away inside is the wonderful 28.5-1 Automatic Calibre Movement with a lovely reassuring "bump", very similar to the Omega's of that period.

It's safe to say that if you're looking to add a piece to your collection that radiates charm and quality from the golden age of Watchmaking, whilst giving you a superb amount of value for money, this is the chap for you.

Getting Acquainted

Nitty Gritty:
- The Minute hand has discoloured.
-Some minor marks to Case and Scratches to Crystal.

Overall this Tissot is in very nice Vintage condition.
The Dial is in lovely condition, there is a small bit of patina around the middle but part of its charm.
The Steel Case is in very nice order. not much wear really.
Caseback markings are very nice.
I believe the Crown to be Original after looking at other examples from that period.
Crystal is in good shape but does have some scratches.
Hands are good though the minute hand has discoloured.
